The style is a little more muted and minimalist. We chopped down the 5.25" bays to give more space inside and removed the fan controller to offer a lower MSRP. Same chassis as the Phantom 630, but another 200mm front mount has been added. Tons of air cooling performance with the larger fans and a fair amount of water cooling and CLC support with 120mm/140mm fan mounts all over the place. Some people don't like the window, but you can replace it with a different one or cut your own window very easily. This case is very quiet just because of the performance it gives to components, allowing them to run at lower speeds. You can configure the cages in any way you like, comes stock in 3-2-1 but you can go 2-3-1, 1-2-3 or just remove some and go 1-0-0 or 0-0-3 depending on what you need. Modular hard drive bays are a big addition to the 630 and our newer cases. Designed to be a high performance case, coming with a fan controller, rear mounted SSD trays, and 200mm fan support. Also yeah, side notes by you on how it does compared to older models. Simply sit down (without the plastic crap on top) and try to sit on it one minute. It will be interesting, what the new case can better (or not). My own case is an Obsidian 800D and I've modified this case with USB 3.0 and a new SATA3 PCB. I'm waiting for the corsair Obsidian 900D.
